‘evermore’ by Indivi Sutton delves into Rudolf Steiner’s philosophy that to experience the “all-embracing truth,” we must completely surrender to the present moment. By allowing ourselves to be fully engaged in our surroundings, breathing slowly and deeply, it is possible to embrace the impermanence and transparency of the world around us. Steiner’s philosophy of heart thinking connects us with our intuitive being, and in doing so, we become more attuned to the subtle energies that permeate the universe and are better able to navigate the challenges and uncertainties of life by cultivating empathy and compassion, which contribute to the evolution of humanity towards greater unity and harmony.

In this body of work, the natural pigments imbibe raw linen where Indivi conjures heart thinking as the protagonist exposing the most profound aspect of our beings, the knowledge of the spirit. The process is one of deep contemplation of the inner language that speaks without words and needs no definition, inviting the evermore of our existence. The idea is that our experiences and emotions are not felt as isolated events but rather frequencies of the invisible that defy time as a measure of past and future and bring us to a place of one.

Each painting is an incantation to a pilgrimage; thus, the truth becomes the self-evident condition of the collective soul, drawing strength and inspiration from the memory of beauty and its power.
